At the request of Consob Ing. Carlo De Benedetti confirms that in the margins of the
M & C shareholders held today in Milan, in the state in response to questions of journalists to its
line based on the commitment to devote to all shareholders on equal treatment, referred to
having previously declined an offer to purchase received for their participation - and up
to a maximum of 29.9% of the shares of the same M & C - at a price higher than Euro
0.70 per share (the latter corresponding more per share, the sum of
distribution of capital approved yesterday by the Assembly and the public offer price by
Mimosas SpA). In this proposal the same engineer De Benedetti informed the Board of
Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 29, 2009.
